Welfare Benefits 2

Sefton Carers Centre realise that carers and those who they care for are often at a disadvantage financially.

Carers may have to reduce or give up work to fulfil their caring role and those who are cared for may also have to give up work, or be reliant on benefits, and may well have additional household expenses as a result of their disabilities.

Our experienced Welfare Benefits Advisors provide information that can help you to understand benefit rules/law and identify possible entitlement, as well as help with applications for relevant benefits and support with appeals against unsatisfactory decisions.

All our services are free for unpaid carers living in Sefton, or caring for someone that lives in Sefton if they live outside the borough – you just need to register with us first.
